I recently ran out of my Mascara that I love. I got it a while ago, and because I keep hearing good things about Younique I thought I should check out what the fuss is all about.

So I had a look on their website and I had a look on eBay to see if I could get it cheaper on there, just so I can give it a test run. I managed to find one in China, and got it shipped over.

When it arrived I was excited to try it out. I had heard it was great, I had seen my friend using it. I wanted to see if it would do anything for me. You see I have rather short eyelashes unfortunately, so I try using false lash mascara and things similar that never seem to do much good for me.

I opened the box up and I found this cute little pouch with the mascara and fibres in. They were different to how I thought they would look. But then again. I didn't know what to expect. It came with instructions which was good, because it told you how to get it to work properly.

Today I finally got to try it out. Then great thing is, I had a cheap mascara that I was given in a gift box a while ago to compare the two mascaras together. So I applied my normal black mascara onto one eye, and then I did the second eye with the 3d Fibre Mascara.

The first thing to do was apply the Transplant Gel to the eye first. Whilst it was wet, you then used the fibre lashes to add to the length and volume. Then to keep the 3D fibres in place you applied the Transplant Gel again. I only did it once on my eye, although you can do it as many times as you need to create thicker and longer looking lashes.

After I did the first application of the lashes I could already see the different between them both. My lashes looked longer, and slightly fuller than the normal mascara lashes. I didn't do the bottom lashes in this one, because I wasn't sure how it would come out. But just from the one application it was amazing the difference between them.

Pros:

It actually works!

The instructions help you apply it correctly.

You can use it multiple times to get thicker, fuller lashes. Only £23, which is more than some mascaras you get from L'oreal etc. But cheaper than mascaras from places like MAC.

Cons: You have to either order it online or from your Younique representative.

Only comes in Black.

So in total it was a fantastic investment and I'll be definitely purchasing this again when it runs out. Thankfully as I said before, I found this on eBay for about £4.50 which is a LOT cheaper than on the website, but for a trial I didn't want to spend £23. However, I WILL be more than happy to spend that in the future for a once in a blue moon purchase (as mascara lasts for months). Have a good evening and talk soon! :D JJ
