So it's been a while since I posted anything on here.

I apologise, a lot has happened in the past year. However we are not going to talk about that. The past is the past, and we will be looking forward to now and the future. Today I will be focusing on something I thought about doing for quite a while, and never had any idea of what to do, where to start. Currently I am in one of my favourite little tea houses where I live. Samovar Tea House is an amazing place to go if you wish to go for a more cosier atmosphere, than somewhere like Starbucks, Nero or even Costa.

Now do not get me wrong. I love myself some Starbucks. I may grab one on my way home to try and keep me warm in the snow that has ensued.

But Samovar, is something completely different. They have perhaps over 200 teas, they also do local cold drinks like juice, and they also do coffee and hot chocolates. But the tea is what I come for.

I'm a Chai person if I'm completely honest. I usually stick with my Chai Tea, or Vanilla Chai. Today, I am partaking in a Moroccan Chai. This one contains Mint, and is different to my norm. Still Chai though.

It's a green style tea, instead of the usual black tea.

The lights are warm, and a little dim, and there is a sofa near the rear of the shop. A rug on the floor, multiple prints are around the shop, of various artists, all for sale. All images of the surrounding area. All beautiful and skilled. A wall filled with various small board games, and it's all just a rustic comforting feel.

They sell food, and have homemade cake too. It's great. I had a BLT white bagel, which comes with a side of pickles. Was all warm and toasty and it was made on order.

Today they have Lemon Tart, Apple Tart, and Chocolate and Cinnamon Cake.

I chose the Lemon Tart to go with my tea, and it came with a side of crème fraiche. The tart had a thin layer of pastry at the bottom and the lemon filling was a lovely amount. The crème fraiche complimented it well, reducing the tarte of the flavour slightly. Smooth and the right amount of pastry.

I discovered this place when some friends invited me out. We had a table at the back, and it was just a lovely place to go. We thought we were being quite loud, but its just a nice hustle and bustle chatting in there. No one is overly too loud, and are all extremely respectable. Also you get a pot of tea, that you can get maybe 3-4 cups out of it, for as little as £2.40. A great place all round. Today is my first time alone, and I don't feel out of place at all. Even being the only person with technology here. It has it's quiet moments. This may be my number one place to go in future just to write something for this.

Maybe I need to set aside a day, or two, so I can make sure that I am able to keep on top of this. Also means I can have some time to myself, which may be just a little treat.

So I will leave you with this little entry about this place, and maybe I might do some more on places/food/drink etc. Whether it's dining out, or making something at home. We will see.
